As many betting house-savvy gamblers already realize, there are 2 main types of internet based roulette. I plan on addressing a number of of the variances between the two versions of this popular gambling house game and in doing so, assisting you, the gambler, determine which game suits you greatest.

The first edition of internet roulette I would like to discuss is American Roulette. The American roulette wheel has the numbers zero, double zero, and numbers from one to 36. Because of the extra number found in American roulette, newbies could be better advised to keep to European roulette due to the somewhat greater odds.

Secondly, we have European roulette (also recognized as French roulette). In contrast to its American counterpart, it has all the same numbers except for the "double zero" that the American edition has. This, as was said above, provides European roulette a little bit better odds than American roulette.

One of the subtler differences between the two roulette games is that in American roulette, gamblers obtain distinct colour chips for easier difference of bets, whilst in European, gamblers usually obtain the same color chips, requiring the respective players to have to be alert! Also, European dealers collect the chips with rather nice-looking rakes, while American drealers tend to be far more inclined towards using their hands.

There is a rule in European roulette called "En Prison". This allows the player, if the zero is landed on, to either surrender one half of their outside wagers or to keep them on the table for the next game. This rule lowers the house edge even lower, taking it to 1.352 as opposed to the five point two six available in the American game, thus making the European game a bit far more tempting.

At the end of the day, it is up to the player to decide whether or not they wants to go for the more secure wager with European Roulette or if she favors the excitement of the much more dangerous American Roulette...
